Do you know what is the most unforgettable scene during this tragedy?

First of all, our some unfortunate co-Filipino who have been unconditionally feel and experienced the long effect of the typhoon is not the unforgettable scene we must note. First thing first, by this time many social networking sites are apparently trending about the typhoon.

Of course many of the organizational news posting time to time making us to be updated during the typhoon and necessarily in order them to spread some news through the medium of social sites like what i read about from the post of www.fb.com/abscbnNEWS online. There are always feedbacks from different individuals, especially filipino commenting their thoughts about our government officials, some are arguing about;

• Why there's no actions?
• When do they start helping?
• Slow process of relief goods.
• President Pnoy are not making some steps nor doing some procedures.
• and so on and so forth.

I'm a Filipino and I really don't appreciate and easily cope up with every comment I read, but the only things that came to my mind, is why there are Filipinos needs to discuss and compete a debate with our government officials or even on different departments of our country. Are they commenting because they want to become popular? Maybe by this effects and methods of commenting, we are not thinking that we are now pertaining to break our some epic traits, being specific like BAYANIHAN (a trait of every Filipinos wherein having a teamwork when someone are in help). It's not a lawful to be followed but it is a identical posture of every one of us Filipinos right?

For those commenters on every and whatever topics you may discussed please think off about the ironical feedbacks of every the readers. See like me I'm now posting my thoughts. Instead of making some arguments or trying to blame someone, why not asking your self.

 

• Why there is no actions?
• -Did I already do some actions or even say a little prayers? 

• When do they start helping?
• -Why I am blaming others but I'm here just sitting all the time arguing with non-sense features.

• Slow process of relief goods.
• -Does my mind processing well? I know really to myself that since first they already gave and spread the relief goods from different institutions and departments and I am now putting myself o being like a childish person believing that they are like superheroes but in real world they are not as fast and as strong as Superman. Does it means i'm too slow? (yes you are)

• President Pnoy are not making some steps nor doing some procedures.
• - How fool I am? To argue with the president?Many of the millions gave their vote as everyone trusting him, so I should not blame him and never blame others, he leads well and Imany of kababayans really trusting him honestly I gave my vote for him. Do I need to blame myself on commenting about our President? (I guess so)

• and so on and so forth.
• - Do i need to think twice for the every comment I posted or a hundred times? (maybe try to ask yourself if you are in a good condition of thinking)

Now the question is "What is the unforgettable things to be noted?". Me myself also don't know what is on your mind, and I know to myself that there is an unforgettable thing when you watched or heard about the news did you cried? honestly yes, I cried. Did the news broke your heart? again it really breaks my heart too, so everything that noted a scar on our hearts is the only things that developed to a unforgettable measures by this tragedy. Big no no for drama because maybe this time every Filipino must do some prayers, swim some unity, dig some teamwork, and salute every institutions even single persons, families and authorities outside and inside of the country who willingly gave and helped a lot of our kababayan who have been tragedized by Super typhoon YOLANDA.

Pinoy scientist wins at American Biz Awards in San Francisco

A nutritional product made from the anti-cancer properties of soybeans developed by a Filipino scientist was awarded the 2013 People’s Choice Stevie Awards for Favorite New Consumer Product and a bronze Stevie Award at the 11th American Business Awards in San Francisco.
Filipino research geneticist Alfredo Galvez received the award for LunaRich X, which he developed in partnership with Reliv International, manufacturer of patented nutritional supplements.
A research scientist at the Center of Excellence in Nutritional Genomics at the University of California in Davis, and director of research for the Missouri Plant Science Center in Mexico, Galvez said Lunasin’s discovery was a “lucky mistake.”
Galvez shared that he discovered an extraordinary plant peptide as an accidental by-product of the work conducted in a gene cloning laboratory at the University of California in Berkeley in 1996.
He named the by-product Lunasin – a Filipino word for “to heal” or “to remedy” –-which was shown to disrupt cancer cell division and prevent tumor formation.
He conducted further research on the cancer-inhibiting peptide and found that Lunasin, in its bioactive form, had the ability to essentially turn off the bad genes, and turn on the good genes in our bodies. In other words, Lunasin, found in miniscule quantities in soybeans, makes cells less receptive to disease.
Galvez’s findings were published in the Journal of Cancer Research and other prestigious journals. Since then, Lunasin has become one of the most heavily researched and scientifically supported nutritional compounds available today, with more than 50 published papers from more than 25 research institutions.
Lunasin is a naturally occurring peptide that has been identified as responsible for many of soy’s documented health benefits, including cholesterol support and general cellular health, Galvez added.
Lunasin is one of the first bioactive compounds identified to affect expression and promote optimum health at the epigenetic level. The epigenome, which literally means “beyond the genome,” is a higher level of complexity within the cell, he explained.
Last Thursday, Galvez presented to 30 medical doctors in Bacolod the Lunasin technology.
He explained how the Lunasin technology is applicable to their various disciplines and discussed possible clinical trials in the country.
Galvez said LunaRich X was the only nutritional product honored in the 2013 US Stevie Awards. The online poll for Favorite New Products had more than 20,000 votes cast for its 34 product categories.
Galvez was born and raised in San Fernando, La Union. He finished both his BS in Plant Physiology and Genetics and MS in Genetics and Plant Breeding at the University of the Philippines-Los Baños, and his PhD in Plant Physiology and Genetics at the University of California in Davis.
Galvez was one of the outstanding Filipino-Americans in science and technology honored by President Aquino at the 2010 Philippine Development Foundation awards.

PH records highest download for games, apps in Southeast Asia

The Philippines has recorded the highest download for games and apps (applications) among countries in Southeast Asia, according to a recent survey that provides a regional and country-specific insight into mobile Internet usage.
“The Philippines has the highest download for games and apps in Southeast Asia with almost 80% of the users having downloaded a game or app last month,” said the Mobile Internet Consumer Report – Southeast Asia 2013, which was released by Vserv.mobi, a Global Mobile Ad network and emailed to media.
However, the survey said that the Philippines’ downloads for videos and music were “relatively lower than the Southeast Asia average” at 39 percent and 30 percent respectively.
The survey also said that:
* Within Southeast Asia, the Philippines has the highest proportion of mobile Internet users in the 18-24 year age category;
* The Philippines has a significantly larger pool of graduate and post-graduate mobile Internet users (54%), compared to Southeast Asia (36%);
* Mobile internet users in the Philippines have a keen interest to learn about brands (46%) through mobile, slightly higher than the region’s average (36%);
* Ownership of consumer durables is the highest among mobile Internet users in the Philippines (48%); and
* Mobile Internet users in Philippines enjoy shopping, with three out of every four having visited a mall or market in the last month.
The two-week survey in July 2013 was conducted on over 3,000 mobile and app users from the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
According to the same report (http://vserv.mobi/insights ), the Southeast Asian mobile Internet user is young, employed and possesses a high spending power.

EPISODE 1 - PAGSIBOL NG KATOTOHANAN

Sa malayong lupain ng bulubundukin ng Sha-huarma, may apat na ibat-ibang tribo na siyang kauna-unahang sumibol sa mga lupaing ito. gaya ng tribo Bakal, Dagal, Kalabawal at Asol. Isang dapit hapon sa malayong panahon ng kasarinlan ng bansang Pilipinas, sa lugar na  tinatawag na "Tribo Bakal" natatangi ang mapagkaka-kilanlan ng naturang kapayapaan, pagkakaisa at kalibu-ghan. 

• (ghan - pagmamahalan)

Ito ay isang maliit na tribo sa gitna ng kagubatan, kung saan napakasagana at mahitik sa kayamanan ng kalikasan ang lubos na bumabalot sa kapaligirang ito. Kalibu ang tawagan nila sa isa't-isa. Ngunit may kakaibang misteryo ang nakapaloob sa tribo Bakal.

Isang hapon, isang babaeng nag-ngangalang Indang ang humiling sa kanyang ama, na sila ay muling gumala sa gubat upang mamasyal at manghuli ng tutubi, ang ama ni Indang ay si datu Andung na may sakit na osteoporosis ay isang matandang uhugin, bugnutan, panot, ngunit nung kabataan ay isang matipuno, makisig, at matalinong prinsipe na mahilig sa kulay pula na kasuotang pang-bahag at mga bahay pang-dekorasyon. Bagamat si datu Andung ay madaldal na tao siya naman ay may napaka-busilak, makapag-damdaming, nakakapagpabagabag at maka-lagpas langit na kalooban, kung kaya siya daw ay karapat-dapat na pinuno ng tribo.

Ang bawat kalibu sa tribo Bakal ay maaring mag-tungo sa kahit saang lugar, subalit ipinagbabawal ang pagpunta sa lagpas ng kakahuyan. Bagama't maraming katanungan ngayon sa kung ano man ang mayroon sa labas ng tribo, ay sinasabing nananatili itong sagrado at pinaniniwalaang utos ng bathala, kung kaya ang bawat kalibu ay patuloy na sumusunod sa utos ng datu Andung.

Si Indang ay isang napakagandang dalaga, kayumanggi, matangkad, may mahaba at kulot na buhok hanggang sa baywang, may maputing balat, mapupulang mga labi, mapungay na mata, may malalaking hinaharap na mga pangarap sa buhay at ipinanganak na bungal lahat ang ngipin sa ibaba, Maliban sa pamamasyal sa kagubatan, tinatanong palagi ni Indang sa kanyang ama kung ano ang mayroon sa dulo ng kagubatan;

Indang: Amang anya ba ti adda diyay ruar iti tribu tayu?

Andung: Iha, magtagalog tayo dahil hindi maiintindihan ng mga viewers natin ok?
Indang: O sige ho, ano po bang mayroon sa labas ng kakahuyan ama?
Andung: Ayoko sanang malaman mo ito ngunit bagamat nasa tamang panahon na at nasa hustong gulang ka na aking anak, nais kong malaman mo na.

Sa  yaong pagkakataon, tila napatigil ang kanyang ama sa pananalita, kasabay ng kanyang pag-buka ng bibig, tila bagay lumalaganap ang sakit nyang osteoporosis. Ngunit sa pagkatila ni datu Andung, isang malaking pagkagambala ang bumahid sa kanyang mukha nag-lalayong may nagaganap na sakuna, kasabay ng pagkaturo ng kanyang ama sa kanilang tribu. Sumulyap sa kanyang likuran si Indang, at nagwikang

Indang: Ama napakaganda po ng fireworks sa ating tribo! wow!

Andung: Anak hindi yun isang fireworks, ito na ang itinakda sa propesiya ang paglusob ng mga taga-tribo Dagal. Kahit anong mangyari wag kang papakagat sa pain ng mga taga-tribo Dagal. Isa itong napakalaking panganib at ikaw ang naka-takdang prinsesa na magtatapos sa kasakiman at kasamaan ng mga taga-Dagal

Indang: Ha? ngunit hindi ko po maintindihan aking ama.

Andung: Indang narito ang tali ng kahayupan, narito ang kasagutan sa mga katanungan na dapat mong malaman, sadya itong bubugkos sa karapatdapat na itinakda. Sa tribo Kalabawal ka magtungo at hanapin mo ang itinakdang lalaking proprotekta sa iyo. Ipangako mo sa aking ingatan mo ang tali ng kahayupan at wag na wag dadaig ang kasamaan sa iyong puso, dapat puro kalibu-ghan!

Kasabay ng pag-pawi ni indang sa kanyang mga luha, isang mahigpit na pagyakap ni datu Andung sa kanyang anak, na para baga'y may kalakip na pamamaalam at siya nawang huling salitang maririnig ni datu Andung mula sa kanyang anak.

Indang: mag-iingat ho kayo aking Ama.

Sa higpit ng kanilang yakapan, damang dama ang pagmamahal ni datu Andung sa kanyang anak. Nais sanang mag-wika ni Indang ng maikling salita upang masabi kung gaano niya kamahal ang kanyang ama. Ngunit tumalon na ng pagka-taas-taas ang kanyang Ama

Habang nasa ere ang kanyang ama, nagbago bigla ng anyo si Indang. Mula sa pagiging tao napalitan ang kanyang katawan sa pagiging kalahating tao at kalahating baka, at pagkababa  naman ni datu Andung mula sa pagka-katalon ay nagbagong anyo rin ito. Magmula sa baywang pataas ay ang pagiging tao at sa baba ay ang kalahating baka, mas naging matipuno ang itsura ni datu Andung, parang walang edad na mahahapis sa kanyang bagong anyo, naging mas makisig at may bakas lang ng pagiging mandirigma ang anyo ni datu Andung, ang huling pag-lingon narin malamang ng naturang datu kay Indang mula sa malayo, ay kasabay na din ng kanyang paghawak ng kanyang panangga at espada na nangangahulugan baga'y ang naitakdang pamamaalam sabay karipas na ng takbo palayo ng Datu pabalik na ng kanilang tribo habang palayo naman na si Indang mula sa kinatatayuan sa kagubatan tila ba patungo siya sa dati ay ipinagbabawal at masukal na kakahuyan na siyang nais na ipinagtungo ng kanyang ama sa tribo Kalabawal.

EPISODE 2 - TALI NG KAHAYUPAN

Ang tali ng kahayupan ang siyang sagradong tali na pinalilibutan ng napakaraming ginto, perlas, pilak at mga ibat-ibang mamahaling mga bato. Ito ang siyang nagbibigay ng ibat-ibang kapangyarihan sa bawat nilalang depende sa emosyon, ugali at hangarin ng bawat tao rito. Sa apat na tribo may kanya kanyang tali ng kahayupan na nakapaloob at ang bawat latigero ng tribo ay nagkakaroon ng panibagong kakahayan, at ang kakayahang iyon ang siyang maaring makapagbabago sa sitwasyon ng buong tribo o ang maaaring makalutas sa nangangambang suliranin ng bawat tribo.

Dahilan sa katandaan ni datu Andung napagpasiyahan na niyang ipasa ang tali ng kahayupan sa kanyang babaeng anak na si Indang, bagamat mayrooong mga propesiya na isang babae ang magtatapos sa digmaan ng bawat tribo sa malayong panahon, nangangamba si datu Andung na baka si Indang ang siyang nakatakdang babae na makakapanigurado sa pagtatapos ng digmaan, ngunit walang naipapakita sa propesiya kung gaano kabilis, paano ang proseso at kung bakit matatapos ang digmaang ito.
